St. Christopher's is a welcoming community of followers of Jesus, worshipping together and exploring the Bible together every Sunday in the Lakeland area. We have been worshipping together in this place since 1932 and are rooted in our commitment to the scriptures and our worship together in the Anglican tradition. If you are looking for a community that invites you to go deeper in your faith, and deeper in your understanding of the Bible, we invite you to join us at St. Christopher's!
We have many events throughout the week as well, such as the Yarn and Fabric club and prayer-shawl ministry, bible study on Thursdays, and more!
We also have a Youth Group which meets every 1st and 3rd Sunday evening from 6:30-8:00pm during the school year, and there's a community Mom's and Tot's group that meets in our building every Monday at 10:00 a.m.

Do I need to be Anglican?
Do I need to be Anglican?
No! In fact, many members of our congregation come from other Christian denominations. What you will find at St. Christopher's is a community of people who are united around the scriptures as the revealed Word of God and a personal relationship with Jesus as the means of salvation.

St. Christopher's is a church which welcomes families during worship at all of our services. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, children are invited downstairs during the service for a Sunday School program just for them! Volunteers walk with them through activities, lessons, and crafts all aimed at helping our youngest members understand God's love for them.
On other Sundays or for smaller children you will find a "children's corner" at the rear of the sanctuary where little ones can play during the service complete with a pew so parents can remain involved in worship. There is also a baby change table in the bathroom and a few supplies available just in case.
